Performs various clinical tasks including but not limited to Bladder scans, urinary catheterization, catheter care/changes, foley catheter care, medication administration and injections, bladder irrigations, and instillations, dipstick urinalysis with microscopic analysis (includes sending for cultures), pessary care and cleanings. The procedural technician performs specialized invasive in-office procedures using a highly advanced skillset and equipment on patients with genitourinary or colorectal problems to study, record, and assist the physician.
