Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
*Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
Direct day to day functions of Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, assuring compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies and processes. According to facility policy and procedure, assure that all members of the interdisciplinary team are aware of and understand changes in resident nursing and/or medical plan of care.
The RN Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to: Responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of nursing activities of the facility during her/his tour of duty. Serve as Administration's representation in the facility in the absence of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Administrator.
