You'll be responsible for safely driving vehicles on and off railcars, then properly parking them in designated lots for inventory checks and quality control. Your attention to detail and safety ensures efficient operations and protects valuable cargo. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Drive vehicles onto and off of railcars safely and efficiently.</li><li>Park vehicles in designated areas for processing, inventory, and inspection.</li><li>Conduct basic inspections to identify and report any visible damage or quality issues.</li><li>Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely vehicle movement.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures, speed limits, and operational guidelines.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Valid Driver’s License</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">A willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Ability to lift 40lbs over head while standing</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Ability to climb ladders and stairs both off and on railcars</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Manual transmission experience preferred, but not required</li><li>Open availability required, with the ability to work 5 days a week.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li style="margin-bottom:0in">The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. About the Role The Loader PM is responsible for safely and efficiently preparing outbound shipments for nightly distribution. This role plays a key part in maintaining warehouse operations, ensuring products are accurately staged and loaded on time to support customer deliveries across DVFG's distribution network. What You'll Do • Coordinate the accurate staging, palletizing, wrapping, and loading of outbound product shipments • Ensure trucks are loaded according to nightly departure schedules and operational deadlines • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanning devices • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and loading dock environment • Monitor product handling processes to support inventory accuracy and shipment quality • Partner with warehouse and distribution teams to support efficient daily operations • Follow company safety procedures and material handling standards • Adapt to changing workloads, schedules, and operational priorities as needed Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role operates in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment and requires regular use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks, RF scanners, box cutters, and pallet-wrapping equipment. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and operate warehouse equipment throughout the shift. Team members must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
