As a Team Partner in the Branch Warehouse, you will be responsible for supporting the timely flow of incoming and outgoing clean and soiled garments and products. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We believe our diversity makes us who we are, and we strive every day to build a culture where everyone feels welcome.What you'll be doing:<ul><li>Inbound Product Handling:</li><li>Unload clean product from plant transport shuttle upon arrival.</li><li>Sort and stage clean garments and facility service items (e.g. mats, mops, towels) by route and delivery day.</li><li>Piece in garments or stockroom items that were not sorted/pieced in at the plant to ensure they are included with the appropriate route.</li><li>Outbound Product Preparation:</li><li>Audit flag good carts and verify accuracy against load sheets.</li><li>Identify, document, and communicate route shortages to the Branch Manager, Service Teams, and Production Management.</li><li>Load route trucks with garments and facility service items.</li><li>Soil and Return Processing:</li><li>Unload and sort any mixed soiled garments and products by material type and classification from returning route trucks.</li><li>Load soiled products onto the outbound shuttle for return to the processing plant.</li><li>Inventory and Stock Management:</li><li>Organize and load reductions, special handling items, and clean return products onto the outbound shuttle for return to the processing plant.</li><li>Receive, label, and store incoming vendor deliveries.</li><li>Warehouse Organization and Safety:</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by performing regular janitorial tasks, including sweeping, disposing of trash, and removing litter.</li><li>Maintain a safe work environment and always adhere to UniFirst's safety procedures.</li><li>Other Duties:</li><li>Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.</li></ul>QualificationsWhat we're looking for:<ul><li>High school education and/or GED equivalent required.</li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age or older.</li><li>Valid Driver's License is required.</li><li>Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift</li><li>Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management</li><li>Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up 75 lbs.</li></ul>About UniFirstThe fabric of UniFirst is woven from its very unique family culture where our Team Partners enjoy a small company feel while taking advantage of the resources and stability that come with being a 2 billion-dollar organization.UniFirst is an international leader in the $18 billion-dollar garment services industry.
