In this role, you will be a key player on the shipping and receiving dock. This is a high-energy position that requires both forklift expertise and the willingness to jump in with manual labor. You won't be working in a silo; you will be part of a coordinated team that works together to sort and move inventory quickly and safely. Dock Loader / Unloader Primary Responsibilities include: <ul><li>Forklift Operation: Utilize an industrial forklift to safely move, stack, and stage pallets and heavy materials on the dock and inside trailers. </li><li>Team Loading/Sorting: Work as part of a collaborative team to manually lift, sort, and organize large rolls of material (up to 50 lbs). </li><li>Freight Verification: Assist in verifying that inbound and outbound loads match the manifest and are free from damage. </li><li>Dock Maintenance: Keep the dock area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment for the team. </li><li>Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all warehouse safety protocols, especially when operating machinery or performing team lifts. </li></ul>Dock Loader / Unloader Requirements include: <ul><li>Forklift Expertise: Proven experience as a Forklift Operator is required. You must be comfortable maneuvering in tight spaces on a busy dock. </li><li>Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50 lb. rolls; must be comfortable with "team lifting" and constant movement. </li><li>Reliability: Exceptional attendance is critical for this short, high-impact evening shift. </li><li>Teamwork Mindset: A positive attitude and the ability to coordinate physical tasks with others to get the job done. </li><li>Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with drivers and dock leads. </li><li>Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work the 4:00pm – 7:00pm window, with an understanding that hours may shift based on freight volume. </li></ul>Join Us. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, staging, and transporting raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout various areas of the manufacturing process, including welding, paint, roll form, and unit production. We are looking for experienced Material Handlers for a Greenville, SC area manufacturing operations site.  In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, staging, and transporting raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout various areas of the manufacturing process, including welding, paint, roll form, and unit production. This role ensures continuous material flow to prevent production delays and supports safe, efficient plant operations.  Responsibilities<ul><li>Load and unload raw materials, fabricated components, and finished products at designated production stations (weld, paint, roll form, assembly/unit production).</li><li>Stage materials and parts to support upcoming production runs and maintain workflow continuity.</li><li>Transport materials between departments using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.</li><li>Remove completed parts from production lines and transfer to next process or storage location.</li><li>Inspect materials for visible damage or defects prior to loading or movement.</li><li>Verify part numbers, labels, and quantities to ensure accuracy before staging or distribution.</li><li>Maintain proper organization of materials, racks, pallets, and staging areas.</li><li>Follow 5S and lean manufacturing practices to promote efficiency and workplace organization.</li><li>Communicate material shortages or workflow concerns to supervisors or team leads.</li><li>Support production operators as needed to maintain throughput and minimize downtime.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.</li><li>Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.</li><li>Basic understanding of production processes such as welding, painting, roll forming, or assembly preferred.</li><li>Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs safely and consistently.</li></ul> Requirements<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.</li><li>Forklift certification or ability to obtain within first 30 days.</li><li>Experience working in a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.</li></ul> Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily based on the production floor within a manufacturing facility.
