The Painter/Load is mainly responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.

HOUR

Structural Steel Painter/LoaderPay: $24-26/hr.Shift: Mon-Fri (6am to 4:30pm) with optional Saturday OTDescription:The Painter/Load is mainly responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required.Requirements:<ul><li>Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint</li><li>Must have experience with overhead crane</li><li>Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors</li><li>Works in compliance with company's safety policies and procedures</li><li>Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed</li><li>Basic math skills are required</li><li>Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment</li><li>Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours</li><li>Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment </li></ul>Job Duties:<ul><li>Prep and paint structural steel</li><li>Operate forklift as needed</li><li>Perform rigging work to move materials as requires</li><li>Load and unload steel from trucks</li><li>Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Health/dental/vision/disability insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>401k with employer match and 100% vesting from the beginning</li><li>Paid weekly</li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance</li></ul>Selected applicant will be subject to a pre-employment physical with drug/alcohol testing.
