The Data Governance Analyst will: Help IDOH's data stewards to develop and maintain data dictionaries, Lead and support data stewardship initiatives, Author and update data governance policies and SOPs, Deliver data literacy and quality training programs for agency staff, Collect and analyze data requests in the centralized data sharing system, Support the roll-out and continuous improvement of the IDOH data governance framework, Enhance data quality and protection for sensitive data throughout the agency, Serve as a resource for policy interpretation, training, and stewardship best practices. Intake, triage, and route internal/external data requests, Maintain audit trails and enforce director accountability and delegation, Coordinate with Legal (OLA) on Data Sharing Agreements, retention, and destruction obligations, Track request timelines, SLA adherence, and escalate overdue items.
