Repairs and Installs Access Control, Alarm, and CCTV Systems: Provides and coordinates repairs and maintenance of technical equipment; Troubleshoots and provides end-user technical support for access control, alarm, and CCTV systems; Performs timely installations of university card access, alarm, and CCTV system installations to include running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cable, as well as mounting system control panels and related components, both mechanical and electronic; and. The primary purpose of the Access Control and IT Technician is to provide maintenance to the university's CCTV equipment and access control hardware to ensure proper operation of all components of the systems are functional (including door contacts, request to exit devices, readers, the actual lock, power supplies, encoders, network connections, and cameras).
