Preparing and maintaining shipment paperwork Maintain logs and records of shipments Coordinate shipments with customer and, or freight forwarder for pick up / delivery Troubleshooting shipping issues (Loading plans, multiple truckloads, Weight limitations, driver issues, etc.) The adequate Packing and Marking of products, to prevent loss or damage, which is to be consistent with the transportation methods Checking orders for accuracy Staging crates/orders in preparation for pick ups Tracking and updating customers the status of shipments Crate Markings per customer requirements (ink stenciling, spray paint, etc.) Interacts with truck drivers and carriers, Loading trucks & trailers Assisting in warehouse functions Making local deliveries Cycle counts Other duties as assigned. Working within the Logistics department and reporting to the Logistics / Export Compliance Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, packaging, marking, and loading of shipments, of Nikkiso products and maintaining records of inbound and outbound shipments.
