Inspect, maintain, and test all fire alarm equipment on site, and replaces defective components as needed, test initiating and signal circuits, detectors, and system transmitter, makes needed repairs, and checks pressure gauges on suppression systems, such as wet pipe, and test electric fire pumps monthly. The technician will service multiple fire alarm system manufacturers, maintain water-based suppression systems, complete accurate NFPA test reports, interpret technical drawings and manuals, train maintenance staff on system operation, and provide professional support to customers.
