Core Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams for new and established cardiac patients, Diagnostic & Treatment Management: Order, track, and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors), Pharmacotherapy: Prescribe and adjust cardiovascular medications (antiarrhythmics, heart failure therapies, anticoagulants) under practice protocols, Patient Education: Counsel patients and families on heart-healthy lifestyle modifications, risk factor reduction, and disease self-management. Licensure & Certification: Active state nursing/PA license, board certification ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA, Life Support: Current BLS and ACLS certifications, Experience: Prior cardiology or critical care experience is strongly preferred for advanced acuity positions.
