Provides nursing orientation and ongoing supervision of nursing activities including but not limited to psychiatric and medical history taking, medication administration, metabolic monitoring, primary care integration, nursing assessments, measuring vital signs and weights, providing education and resources for health promotion, and providing education related to chronic disease management. Under the supervision of the Outpatient BH Nurse Manager, provides clinical and administrative nursing supervision to BHN Clinician/Case Managers in the following programs: Intensive Case Management (ICM), Jail Diversion (JD), and Jail-Based Services at the Fairfax Adult Detention Center (ADC).
