<h5>Mail/Finishing Specialist Level 2 </h5>Sparks Group has partnered with a leading print production organization seeking a mail/finishing specialist level 2 for a one-year contract! If you have at least one to two years of mail experience, this is the perfect role for you! Apply now. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Mail processing: Operate high-speed mail equipment (inserters, sorters, etc.). Prepare and process mail, packages, and shipments. Handle electronic mail distribution (scanning, etc.). Perform mail merges and address cleanup. Ensure mail quality through address validation and barcode checks. Manage and track mail, including problem resolution with carriers. Process and record accountable mail. Perform fulfillment tasks like assembly and packaging. </li><li>Shipping and receiving: Manage shipping and receiving using automated systems. Prepare shipments using various services (USPS, FedEx, etc.). Complete shipping forms and use shipping terminals. Arrange alternative courier services. </li><li>Equipment and maintenance: Operate, clean, and maintain mail and shipping equipment. Troubleshoot and contact service for equipment issues. </li><li>Administrative and support: Track and report postage and shipping charges. Manage inventory and order supplies. Maintain mailing address databases. Provide customer service and handle special mailings. Perform data entry and use production mail software. Handle faxing. Use barcode tracking or face scanning systems. Train and mentor other employees. </li><li>Workflow optimization: Recommend process improvements for cost savings and efficiency. Estimate and schedule mailing jobs. Follow mailroom security procedures. </li></ul>Required skills: <ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Proficient in English (reading, writing, following instructions). </li><li>Intermediate computer skills: Internet and file management. Mail merges. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency. Knowledge of account-relevant software (Adobe Acrobat, etc.). Basic network knowledge. Basic Digital Front End knowledge. Functional MAC knowledge. </li><li>Experience with mail equipment (inserters, postage meters, etc.). </li><li>Customer service and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision. </li><li>Ability to perform data entry. </li><li>Ability to use production mail software. </li><li>Ability to estimate and schedule mail jobs. </li></ul>Experience and education: <ul><li>1-2 years of mail procedures and equipment experience. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li></ul>This job is in-person. This includes checking the accuracy and appropriateness of all medications dispensed along with maintaining the sterility of parenteral medications where applicable. Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving instruction, providing leadership, and generally raising the level of performance of others while on the job. + Pharmaceutical Drug Preparation & Dispensing (Intermediate): Demonstrates proficiency in drug preparation and dispensing including practical applications of a difficult nature. This includes being proficient in the general principles of aseptic technique utilized to compound sterile preparations (CSPs) to minimize the risk of contamination.
