Tasks include, but are not limited to, removing and replacing ceiling tiles and floor tiles, water cleanup (including the use of a wet vacuum), moving and relocating furniture, performing light carpentry work, repairing and installing sheetrock, painting, light electrical repairs, removing and installing water and air filters, removing and installing fan belts, removing, repairing, and installing plumbing fixtures and associated piping, removing and installing various lights and light fixtures, replacing electrical fuses, performing door maintenance including replacing doorstops, hinges, and other door hardware, and replacing baseboards and cove base. Certification/Skills: NoneMinimum Education:Completion of 10th grade High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum Experience:1 year Experience performing a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks as a helper to a journeyman or as a handyman in a general building maintenance environment requiredPhysical Requirements:Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
