Duties may include installing plumbing fixtures, replacing lighting fixtures, repairing hospital beds, drywall and painting repairs, repairing access control readers and door operators, cutting keys, testing electrical circuits, installation and repair of ceiling grids, trouble shooting and repairing HVAC issues, trouble shooting and repairing boiler and hot water heater problems, repairing and replacing pumps/motors and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC, boiler, and generator and fire pump systems. - This position requires knowledge of general office equipment (including the nurse call system, telephone system, fax machine, copy machine, computer, and commonly used hospital programs) as well as excellent computer, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, supervisory, interpersonal skills, basic math skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment skills.
