Provides assistance in equipment inspections and identifies conditions (wear, alignment, function, etc.) and monitors performance as directed; Reports plant and/or equipment conditions to appropriate personnel as required; Assists plant personnel with repair and maintenance; Analyzes malfunctions and repairs and rebuilds conveyors and equipment; Examines parts for damage or excessive wear; Welds broken parts and structural members and other items as necessary using stick welding processes; Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair; Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, and failure analysis; Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies, procedures and requirements; Maintains good housekeeping practices on equipment; Candidates must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements, some noise; must have ability to work independently and problem-solve while working alone or as part of a team; Must be willing to work flexible hours including some weekends and must be punctual in adhering to established start times; and . Must have at least 3 years experience; Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical; Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document; Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times; Report to work at the designated start time; Be able to work long hours when required; Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook; Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required; Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record; Be at least age 18 years of age; High school graduate, G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience (preferred); and.
