The CropVoice platform translates signals from our living sensors to pinpoint stress well before visible symptoms, giving farmers and agronomists critical and timely insights and removing the guesswork behind key in-season decisions.This Agronomy Sales Manager position will be based in and be responsible for sales in West Central Iowa.<h3>Your Role</h3>As an Agronomy Sales Manager, you will work collaboratively with the InnerPlant team to drive product awareness and will be accountable for achieving sales targets within your assigned territory. To achieve success as an Agronomy Sales Manager, you will:<ul><li>Drive farmer enrollment in CropVoice by working directly with farmers, retailers and seed dealers to educate and generate excitement about CropVoice and to close sales.</li><li>Leverage your existing network to increase awareness of CropVoice and to drive sales.</li><li>Capitalize on a strong agronomic background to explain the benefits of CropVoice in terms that are practical and value-driven for farmers and agronomists.</li></ul>Each Agronomy Sales Manager will also support local field operations, including plot network setup, and scouting.<h3>What Makes You Stand Out</h3>Successful Agronomy Sales Managers will be self-starters who diligently carry out their responsibilities in their territories while working collaboratively and transparently. In particular, you will:<ul><li>Relentlessly follow through on all aspects of responsibilities, including: generating leads and building a customer pipeline, closing sales opportunities, maintaining meticulous customer relationship management records, and training partners in CropVoice.</li><li>Champion the company’s mission to transform farming, effectively communicate that vision to farmers and partners, and bring feedback from growers and partners back to product, marketing, and leadership teams.</li><li>Share and receive feedback with the team while driving sales success within your territory.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, or a related field</li><li>Strong agronomy background required; working knowledge of crop disease management, fungicide applications, and agronomic decision-making, specifically for soybeans and corn</li><li>Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) preferred but not required</li><li>Experience in ag sales, ag retail, or a customer-facing agronomy role</li><li>Proven ability, or clear demonstrated drive, to prospect, cold call, and build book of business from scratch, for both channel partners and farmers</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in summer field conditions for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs</li><li>Valid driver's license</li></ul>BenefitsThe US base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $115,000 + short-term incentive plan + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Overview: • Generate leads through digital marketing, local networking, partnerships with insurance agents/adjusters, property managers, real estate professionals and commercial clients. • Actively participates in weekly Marketing meeting with Sales Management team and provides insight to previous week and upcoming weekly schedule.

You’ll develop and execute sales strategies, manage marketing campaigns, nurture referral and insurance-industry relationships, and support project handoffs.
