In addition, the employee must be able to: Walk extended distances across uneven, sloped, or rough terrain Perform physically demanding landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and weeding Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers in a safe and efficient manner Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance Climb ladders or similar structures and work at varying heights as needed Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and direct sunlight Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, coordination, and sustained physical effort Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
