Part Inspection / Packaging<ul><li>Inspects parts coming from work cell to ensure they meet parameters defined on QC inspection sheet and reference parts.</li><li>Package parts as defined in operator work instructions ensuring box and pallet quantities are correct.</li></ul>Quality Assurance<ul><li>Perform Hourly Checks and sign offs for your work cell and other work cells as needed</li><li>Prepping job binders and labels as determined by shift lead</li><li>Startup approvals</li><li>Works with supporting departments to ensure the machine is producing desired part parameters</li><li>Ensures work instructions are correct and up to date</li></ul>Mold Job Setup Teardown<ul><li>Mold Setting</li><li>Work cell setup – Including all documentation, quality samples, tools and auxiliary equipment needed</li><li>Work cell teardown – Returning all documentation, quality samples, tools and auxiliary equipment to correct location</li><li>Mold Removal</li></ul>Material Handling<ul><li>Material Prep teardown – Including loading and cleaning dryers, swapping out gaylords, pulling materials, components and packaging from staging, setting up grinders and cleaning loaders for the next job</li></ul>Injection Processing and Troubleshooting<ul><li>Press startup – Ensure the start-up checklist is complete. Load the correct program in the machine and ensure all parameters are correct according to the mold book or approved process sheet.</li><li>Troubleshooting minor issues such as, but not limited to, stuck parts, contamination, door/ machine alarms, and automation alarms</li><li>Adjust automation programs and EOAT to meet production standards.</li><li>Works with shift lead and manufacturing engineers on major issues.</li><li>Writes mold work orders as needed when issues arise</li><li>Documents all process changes in the process change log</li><li>Ensure work cell is performing at or below standard scrap and cycle-time</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Any combination of training, education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment<a class="msocomanchor" href="#_msocom_2" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" style="color:rgb( 59 , 130 , 246 );text-decoration:underline" target="_blank"></a>preferred</li><li>Experience in injection molding or related roles (Material Handler, Die Setter, Processor, or Quality)</li></ul> The ideal candidate will:<ul><li>Work effectively in a team environment</li><li>Be dependable, with consistent and punctual attendance</li></ul><hr/>
