Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: • Pay strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills with manufacturing associates, management, contractors, and suppliers - opportunities to improve your technical writing, speaking, and presentation skills are numerous and strongly supported • Ability to work both independently and on multi-functional, diverse teams • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) with a basic knowledge of pivot tables and graphs • Experience with statistical analysis techniques and software is a plus • Experience with CAD, Tableau, PowerBI, and/or Minitab is a plus • For Automation & Control Engineers: Interest in learning of industrial control systems (PLC/DCS), instrumentation, and/or MES systems is a plus • Proven leadership and participation in campus/community service activities is preferred • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Qualifications: • Enrollment in an accredited college/university pursuing a Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Plastics Engineering, or similar degree is required • Minimum Requirements: Completion of your first year with a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA is required • Authorization to work in the United States and not require sponsorship in the future is required (F-1 student Visa status is accepted with CPT) • Dedication to working full time (40 hours per week) on-site for the duration of the co-op is required • A housing stipend will be provided based on eligibility • Expected to provide your own transportation to and from the work location.
