Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for servicing new and used RV’s. General RV Technicians do not service the chassis or engines, only interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing.</li><li>RV specific certifications will be provided by General RV, do NOT need to be ASE certified.</li><li>Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and how the issue can be repaired.</li><li>Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality.</li><li>Inspect RV’s thoroughly.</li></ul>

Qualifications:

About the RolePete’s RV Center is seeking RV Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles, including travel trailers and motorhomes.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working across multiple systems, and being rewarded for productivity and skill.You’ll work on a wide range of systems:<ul><li>Electrical </li><li>Plumbing </li><li>HVAC </li><li>Mechanical / chassis </li><li>Generators and appliances </li><li>Interior and coach body repairs </li></ul> This Role is Perfect for Someone Who:<ul><li>Has mechanical experience and wants to grow their skillset </li><li>Enjoys diagnosing and fixing complex issues. </li><li>Wants consistent work in a high-demand industry.</li><li>Is motivated by performance-based pay and efficiency.</li><li>Takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. </li></ul>Requirements️ Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair RV systems and components. </li><li>Perform general repairs across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, etc.) </li><li>Complete preventative maintenance and warranty work </li><li>Prioritize work orders and handle urgent service requests. </li><li>Accurately document repairs, parts usage, and work performed </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.</li><li>Follow all shop procedures, safety standards, and company policies.</li><li>Deliver high-quality workmanship and maintain strong customer satisfaction (CSI)</li></ul> What We’re Looking For<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of technician experience (RV, automotive, marine, or related field preferred) </li><li>OR basic mechanical experience with a strong willingness to learn </li><li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (for higher-level roles) </li><li>Ability to read and understand wiring schematics (preferred) </li><li>Experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical repair is a plus </li><li>Self-motivated with strong attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Must provide own basic hand/shop tools</li><li>Comfortable using tablet-based technology for work orders and documentation </li><li>Valid driver’s license preferred </li></ul> Certifications (RVIA/RVDA, ASE, etc.) are a plus—but not required. We provide on-the-job training and support for certification advancement.
