Through active participation in area business and industry, mathematical and scientific organizations’ activities and with academic divisional, Early College office/high schools for dual enrollment, and university partners, the dean will promote and assist in the development of new courses and programs for the division. Participate in college-wide planning and resource development; direct the development and administration of a cost-effective budget for assigned functions; direct the forecast of additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies; monitor and approve expenditures; and make midyear corrections .
