The Math Tutor/Mentor for the Liberty Partnerships Program reports to the LPP Director. Hours are flexible. You will work a minimum of 4 hours and up to a maximum of 28 hours per week. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour and is negotiable depending on education and experience. There are some paid holidays. There are no benefits such as health insurance or pension associated with this position.

Not a math whiz? Not a problem — we’ll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way! How does it work? Every school day you’ll see groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes of math practice. When your time together is up, you’ll help your students return to their classroom(s) and pick up your next group for tutoring. Compensation & Perks Package:
ScheduleWe are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year. Positions run September 2026–June 2027.<ul><li>35 hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)</li><li>Daytime hours (corresponding with school start and end times)</li><li>Monday-Friday (no weekends)</li><li>Time off on holidays and school release days</li></ul> Part-time positions are also available at 25 and 15 hours per week!AmeriCorps positions include a total service-hour commitment for the program year.
