As a Program Coordinator or Assistant Program Director, you may: Serve as a Senior Group Leader, Activity Coordinator, Nutrition Coordinator, Gymnasium or Field Coordinator, Provide leadership and supervision in school-based or recreation facility-based programs or activities, including, but not limited to sports, out-of-school time programs, special events, etc. The department manages 39 facilities, including recreation centers, senior centers, and indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities,and provides thousands of programs such as out-of-school activities, aquatics, classes, youth and adult sports programs and leagues, senior programs, and therapeuticrecreation.
