Participates in pressure ulcer prevention by: turning and positioning patients, applying lotions and moisture barriers, utilizing pressure relief devices (heel lift boots, specialty beds), applies and releases restraints correctly and safely. Medical Assistant will assist the clinical staff in the care of patients, prep patients for stress testing procedures, assist in patient observation, assist in the maintaining of clean exam rooms, stock items, answer phones, front office, and other related duties.
