This position supports the University’s retention and community relations objectives by providing services through telephone, email, and in-person interactions with current and prospective students, alumni, families, university personnel and external clientele in a welcoming and professional manner. This position supervises the front desk student workers and schedule, as well as the work permit process for international student employees working on-campus. This position must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident to verify international student status and update international student addresses in SEVIS. Salary Range: $22.23 - $30.09 Minimum Qualifications 1. Knowledge of communications sufficient to: + Present clear and concise explanations of governing rules and regulations. + Explain the reasons for procedures, rules, laws, regulations, standards, and policies so others understand the information they are being given. + Write clearly and succinctly for a wide range of writing assignments including email correspondence, presentations, talking points, and memos 2.
