Qualified candidates must be able to perform various duties that may include: greeting patients, entering new patient information, checking patients in and out, verifying insurance coverage, answering telephones, scheduling appointments on the computer, collecting co-payments, assisting with procedures, cleaning and stocking rooms, refills, pre-certs, rooming patients, scheduling procedures, lab work, EHR charting, and various clinical duties as needed. Excellent people and telephone skills and familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding, and knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, and various insurance plans.
