The technologist is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, operating specialized cardiac equipment, monitoring patient hemodynamics, and supporting advanced circulatory devices, including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP). The Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians during invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
