Under the general supervision of the SHS Director of Operations, and according to established protocol or direction of a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner, the Registered Nurse II (RN) performs a variety of skilled and professional nursing duties and provides triage services to students in a Student Health Center. This individual is proficient in conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing nursing diagnoses, administering treatments and medications, performing specialized procedures such as IV therapy, blood draws, immunizations, and diagnostic testing, and maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
