We are currently hiring for a Production Facilitator in Fairfax, VT. $24/hr 10 hour shifts Mon-Thur. 6am-4:30pm Required qualifications: - College degree in relevant field or high school diploma - 2 years of experience in a similar position - Knowledge of food hygiene standards (HACCP) - Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) - Knowledge of operations (procedures, setup sheets, quality specs and production reports) - Computer skills required - Knowledge of SAGE X3 is an asset Summary of responsibilities: Under the responsibility of the production manager, the Production Facilitator is responsible for the coordination and smooth operation of the production lines. List of responsibilities: - Reviews the schedule for the following week’s production - Prepares all the production reports and labels - Verify that all Work Orders are prepared in advance and inform the Manager if any materials are missing (foil, shippers, displays, etc.) - Prints the set up sheet and checks the spec sheet sent by Quality Control - Prepares and prints production labels and forms - Examines spec sheets and communicate any errors to Production Manager and Quality Control Department for correction - Transcribes and updates all the data from the production reports to the KPI system - Prepares proposals of workforce needed for the Manager’s approval, to accomplish the planner’s schedule - Ensures documentation is properly closed out on X3 for all work orders, and organizes material return to the warehouse following each production run. - Checks and introduces each pallet in the SAGE X3 system - Prepares the production report following the day’s production according to the week’s schedule - Verifies, the production reports and setup sheets are properly filled out by the team before submitting them to the coordinator - Fills out the Production Scoreboard with the previous days produce to schedule information and reviews with the Manager each morning - Ensures all the employees respect work procedures, quality standards and practices, GMPs, health and safety rules, etc. - Follows up on attendance and reports any absences to the Manager - Checks emails, spec sheets, mix tickets, schedules, and any other updates - Organizes the tasks of team members - Determines staffing needs, consults with the Production Manager, and facilitates temporary staffing requests with Human Resources - Assists in the training and evaluation of Machine Operators and General Workers - Informs Production Manager and Human Resources of any personnel or safety issues with the client and agency staff, which may arise, and offers potential solutions - Participates in initiative-taking team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals - Supports and adheres to the client’ s company mission statements and core values - Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures - Supports and helps implement continuous process improvements - Complete any other tasks assigned by management. - Collects, wraps, and stages finished pallets from the lines JobsRUS.com Cares: *Pay Options: Direct Deposit, Paper Checks or pay cards; paid weekly *Health/Dental/Vision Insurance options compliant with the ACA *401k *Online Employee Portal to adjust withholdings and view and print pay stubs We look forward to working with you; JobsRUs.com Cares!
