Camp Counselors/Mentors must monitor Upward Bound students while on campus, to promote educational aspiration and performance; supervise students' free time; lead small groups, including planning and facilitating educational, cultural, and recreational events; maintain communication with academic staff regarding students' progress in classes; assume responsibilities for assigned aspects of residence hall programs; handle routine discipline problems; provide tutoring and advising to individuals and groups of students; assist in monitoring the Food and Nutrition Program; promote a community of mutual respect and trust. Two Head Camp Counselors/Mentors will be hired for the preparation and duration of the annual Upward Bound Summer Session beginning June 15, 2026 through July 7, 2026.
