Join us as a part-time High School Academic Coach and support students on their path to high school graduation, and a lifetime of success. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated to make a difference and has a heart for working with youth.<ul><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Job Type: Part-time (24 hours per week)</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Schedule: Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM (flexible within that window)</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Location: Various schools across Palm Beach County (reliable transportation required)</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 hourly rate</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Note: This is a dedicated part-time role, not designed to supplement a full-time teaching position. </li></ul>Job Responsibilities:<ul><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Provide one-on-one academic coaching to middle and high school students</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Support students in developing organizational, study, and learning strategies</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Track and review student grades on a weekly basis</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to support student success</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Identify learning patterns and address academic challenges</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Assist students with assignments and secure tutors as needed</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Use incentives and goal-setting strategies to motivate student progress</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Document and submit session notes after each meeting</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Participate in student support meetings as needed</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Teaching experience strongly preferred</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Bachelor's degree required</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Highly organized, detail-oriented, and patient</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Ability to work confidentially and exercise discretion</li><li style="color:#212121;line-height:normal;background:white">Team player with excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Have reliable transportation</li><li>Must have bachelor's degree or higher</li></ul>If you are excited about the opportunity to join our dynamic team, please submit your resume.
