What does a Peer Mentor do?Peer Mentors help young adults attending Transitions navigate throughout their college experience. They help guide students through their post-high school journeys and support them to achieve success in higher education, in their careers, and in learning to live independently.If you're ready to make a significant impact in the lives of young adults, while maintaining a balance for your own interests and pursuits, apply today to start your rewarding journey with Transitions!Qualifications:<ul><li style="line-height:normal">High School Degree or GED is required</li><li style="line-height:normal">Be enrolled in a College course or a recent college graduate is preferred</li><li style="line-height:normal">Valid NYS Driver's license with 2 years' experience is preferred</li></ul>What Can Transitions Offer You?<ul><li style="color:#000000;line-height:normal">A Peer Mentor can earn between $19.12 - $22.64 per/hour</li><li style="color:#000000;line-height:normal">Unique shifts that allow for up to 40 hours within three days<ul><li style="color:#000000;line-height:normal">Thursday - Saturday, or Saturday - Tuesday shifts available</li><li style="color:#000000;line-height:normal">Live-in, day, evening, and weekend shifts available</li></ul></li><li style="color:#000000;line-height:normal">Paid training</li><li style="color:#000000;line-height:normal">Both full-time and part-time positions are available</li></ul>What is Transitions?Transitions is a part of The Arc Lexington with campuses in Mayfield (Fulton County), Cobleskill and Albany.
