Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with at least 18 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science with at least 12 credit hours in child development; or . This position’s primary duties will include providing on-site mentoring to early childhood facilities such as, but not limited to, providing direct assistance to help early childhood facilities establish developmentally appropriate learning environments; providing guidance for lesson planning and assisting child care providers improve his or her abilities and skills through observation; conducting assessments and modeling.
