This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to impactful research, and develop professionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.<br/><br/></div><br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><br/><ul><li>Support all technical aspects of quality control testing and readiness, including:</li><li>QC reagent and material management</li><li>Equipment preparation, cleaning, and routine maintenance</li><li>Sample management and QC testing</li><li>Documentation completion and review in compliance with GMP regulations and product specifications</li><li>QC reagent and material management</li><li>Equipment preparation, cleaning, and routine maintenance</li><li>Sample management and QC testing</li><li>Documentation completion and review in compliance with GMP regulations and product specifications</li><li>Generate summaries and report QC results; support deviation and OSS/OOT/OOE investigations.</li><li>Participate in assigned validation activities as necessary.</li><li>Conduct validation screenings using colony PCR and staining protocols.</li><li>Perform complex and varied laboratory procedures for isolation and identification of bacteria and fungi.</li><li>Prioritize work based on sample priority.</li><li>Perform necessary housekeeping duties in a timely manner, keeping work areas and equipment clean and sanitized.</li></ul><div><br/></div><br/><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3><br/><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience in the agricultural or biotechnology industry.</li><li>Proficient in microbiology methods (plate enumeration, growth promotion, microbial ID, etc.) and aseptic technique.</li><li>Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels and across various functions.</li><li>Experience with electronic document control systems (e.g., SharePoint, electronic notebooks).</li><li>Prior experience working in an analytical or biological lab or managing third-party lab testing.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.</li><li>Ability to interpret analytical data and convert to technical documentation.</li><li>Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.</li></ul><div><br/></div><br/><h3>Benefits</h3><br/><ul><li>401(k) & 4% matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>HSA Employer contribution $2,400 annually</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Dental & Vision insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Company paid life insurance</li><li>Short- and long-term disability insurance</li><li>Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital indemnity</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>10 Paid holidays</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Paid Maternity Leave</li></ul><div><br/></div>
