You are or you also have: Requires a minimum of a Masters' degree in molecular biology or related field or a Bachelors' degree with at least 2 years of experience Requires hands-on experience with routine molecular biology methods including plasmid cloning, PCR, and DNA isolation and protein expression Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Nice to have (but not required): Hands-on experience with tissue culture, protein purification, enzyme assay, gel electrophoresis, and flow cytometry are strongly preferred Proficiency with SNAPgene, GraphPad Prism/Excel, and relevant scientific software is desirable Experience with library preparation for NGS, DNA and RNA quality and quantification methods (TapeStation and Qubit) is desirable but not required Experience with protein binding kinetics assays (BLI, SPR, and ELISA) is desirable but not required. You'll also: Design, execute and optimize molecular biology experiments to support lead candidate selection Validate and perform DNA based assays (DNA purification, PCR, and Quality and Quantification of DNA) Culture mammalian cell lines and conduct transient transfections of mammalian cells for protein expression Culture bacterial cell lines and conduct protein expression and purification Interact and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to advance the project Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records.
