Knowledge of Microsoft Azure core services, including computer, storage, networking, and databases, as well as cloud architecture principles such as high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and disaster recovery; knowledge of cloud security best practices including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and compliance frameworks; knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Azure Templates, Chef, Puppet, and AWS CloudFormation; knowledge of networking concepts including Hub and Spoke Architecture, Azure VNET design, routing, DNS, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity; and knowledge of system administration practices in Linux and/or Windows environments. Skill in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions; troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues in production environments; automating processes through scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash); monitoring, logging, and performance tuning using Azure-native and third-party tools; leading technical teams and coordinating solution delivery; and communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
