STIs manage and deliver training material and maintain communication with supervisors concerning training issues that may reveal security-screening weaknesses or vulnerabilities.<br style="background-repeat:no-repeat;outline:none"/><br style="background-repeat:no-repeat;outline:none"/>An STI shall successfully complete screener training and an initial STI certification training courses to become qualified. In addition, prior to delivery of nationally developed TSA training all Train-the-Trainer and specific course certification requirements shall be fulfilled.</div><ul><li>Works independently and applies developed experience to perform duties associated with the Security Training Instructor Program. Completes the majority of work without the need to refer issues to a superior for a decision and exercises sound judgment.</li><li>Performs training instruction within established guidelines and standards in support of nationally developed training programs.
