QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess a valid Class E drivers' license Nursing Simulation Certification, preferred Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institutionCurrent, unencumbered State of Florida RN or APRN licenseMinimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experienceMinimum of two (2) years of experience in nursing education and/or simulation-based educationDemonstrated experience with high-fidelity simulation facilitation and debriefingAbility to evaluate student performance and verify clinical competencies Experience with grant implementation, reporting, or funded academic initiativesExperience with community engagement or workforce partnership activities The Simulation Educator collaborates with campus faculty and academic leadership to ensure simulation activities are aligned with course objectives, program outcomes, and accreditation requirements, while also supporting grant implementation, reporting, and community engagement initiatives.
