Day to day responsibilities As a Senior Engineer, you will have the opportunity to leverage and grow your systems engineering expertise by: Supporting development, configuration management, and maintenance (defect resolution + enhancements) of MBSE (SysML) artifacts, model interfaces and modeling tool updates for multiple baselines through full lifecycle of product development--architecture and design, through integration, test, acceptance and field support . Specific areas of interest include Model Based Engineering (MBSE, MDA, MDD, MDE), Systems of Systems, architecture modeling, analysis of complex systems, and decision support.

The Systems Engineering Technologies Department is charged with identifying, developing and applying new technologies that can address the Government's most challenging Systems Engineering problems. <ul><li>This is an opportunity for experienced Model Based System Engineers who are highly motivated, innovative and self-directed. This position provides challenging opportunities to apply and expand one’s systems architecture experience and modeling & analytical skills. Specific areas of interest include Model Based Engineering (MBSE, MDA, MDD, MDE), Systems of Systems, architecture modeling, analysis of complex systems, and decision support. </li></ul> This position is in-office in Albuquerque, New Mexico and requires working on Kirtland Airforce Base with limited remote work.  Day to day responsibilities <ul><li>As a Senior Engineer, you will have the opportunity to leverage and grow your systems engineering expertise by: </li><li>Supporting development, configuration management, and maintenance (defect resolution + enhancements) of MBSE (SysML) artifacts, model interfaces and modeling tool updates for multiple baselines through full lifecycle of product development--architecture and design, through integration, test, acceptance and field support </li><li>Translating customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting model-based approaches and evolve them with advanced technology solutions.  Plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex systems solutions. </li><li>Assisting with stakeholder communications, responses to taskers, participation in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), briefing external organizations and preparing technical assessments (e.g. trade-offs and gap analysis) </li><li>Assisting with the identification of mission assurance risks, impacts, and artifact generation for compliance </li><li>Supporting analysis and actions to address gaps </li><li>Supporting management of end-to-end use cases with traceability between various stakeholders  </li><li>Estimating, planning, scheduling, and executing data engineering activities  </li><li>Supporting engineering activities for proposal efforts  </li><li>Ability to organize work activities, monitor and mentor teammates & clients in the development of MBSE model artifacts </li><li>Developing and maintaining Data Science artifacts and Architecture </li><li>Developing and driving MBSE model taxonomy and ontology consensus with stakeholders </li><li>Assisting with preparing status reports and transferring knowledge to Government clients </li></ul> Skills/Education/Certification  Required: <ul><li>Must be a US citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a US DoD clearance within first year of employment. </li><li>Active DoD clearance. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field </li><li>5+ years of experience with product development or systems engineering and integration projects </li><li>Industry experience in Model Based Engineering to include MBE, MBSE, MDA, MDD, MDE. </li><li>Demonstrated programming experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, C# or C++). </li><li>Experience with a Model-Based Systems and Software Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Cameo Systems Modeler or Rational Rhapsody.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, presentation, and communications skills for developing and delivering technical presentations. </li><li>Referenceable project-based experience in a team environment </li></ul> Preferred:  <ul><li>Experience with the practical application of UML or SysML modeling </li><li>Data Profiling, Transformation and Modeling experience  </li><li>Experience authoring database queries using SQL </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment </li><li>Ability to take your current skills and experience and transform them to apply to the military/defense domain. </li></ul> Beneficial: <ul><li>Experience with multi-disciplinary modeling and simulation (physics-level, engineering-level and/or operational-level). </li><li>Data Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) Experience </li><li>Deep Data Profiling and Data Modeling experience </li><li>Proficiency in one or more of the programming languages for quantitative analyses (ex. Specific areas of interest include Model Based Engineering (MBSE, MDA, MDD, MDE), Systems of Systems, architecture modeling, analysis of complex systems, and decision support.   This position of Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) is in-office on base in Albuquerque, New Mexico and requires working on Kirtland AF base with limited remote work.  Day to day responsibilities <ul><li>Modeling architectures of complex systems using standards-based languages (ex.
