Key Competencies:To perform the job successfully, the individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:Experience soldering and reworking through-hole and surface-mount electronic components (IPC certification preferred)Basic knowledge of electronic principles including analog circuits, resistors, capacitors, inductors and diodesExperience troubleshooting electronic assemblies to the component level rather than simply replacing boards or modulesAbility to follow written assembly, test, calibration, and troubleshooting proceduresEducation and Experience:Technical certificate or associate's degree in electronics, or related field preferred1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering support role requiredGreen belt certified preferredExperience performing failure and root cause analysis of assembliesFamiliarity with X-ray systems, power supply manufacturing, or radiation safety preferredExperience in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic toolsSelf-driven with strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExcellent English verbal communication and documentation skills. This role requires the ability to recommend corrective actions in collaboration with manufacturing engineering, production, and quality teams.
