General responsibilities include: -Create custom, printable 3D models to support academic and research projects. - Provide one-on-one consultations to patrons on 3D modeling projects, techniques, and best practices. - Develop, schedule, and lead 3D modeling workshops under the guidance of the Manager of Creative Making. - Assist in facilitating classroom experiences for courses integrating 3D modeling and prototyping. Qualifications: -Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at Baylor University. -Advanced proficiency with at least one major 3D modeling software, including, but not limited to: Rhinoceros 3D, AutoDesk Inventor, Blender, or SolidWorks. -Experience with 2D drafting (e.g., AutoCAD) is preferred but not required. -Familiarity with creative methods of teaching, tutoring, or other forms of instruction. -Prior experience in making, design, engineering, or education is a plus.
