Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Requires knowledge of painting materials and equipment; ability to mix and blend paints to achieve proper color match; ability to cut and install various types of glass using putty/glazing compound and/or rubber type moldings; ability to repair, replace, and install various types of vinyl floor tile and coving; ability to refinish furniture including the stripping, filling and the application of varnish, lacquer or other finish materials; ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written directions; and ability to estimate job-related material. For this reason, employees are required to wear designated personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to, ANSI-approved safety eyewear, gloves, hearing protection, filter cartridge respiratory equipment and footwear to prevent exposure to hazardous materials, noise, dust and/or airborne particles.
