This position is labor intensive, requires you to meet your team at varying locations, and maintain an inventory of moving equipment.Advancement opportunities may be available for individuals with leadership skills or experience. Responsibilities:<ul><li style="font-weight:400">Following our safety standards</li><li style="font-weight:400">Coordinating with a team to complete jobs at multiple locations</li><li style="font-weight:400">Moving boxes, furniture, etc. This will require lifting, carrying, climbing and descending stairs, using hand trucks, etc.</li><li style="font-weight:400">Furniture assembly and disassembly</li><li style="font-weight:400">Packing (Residential and Commercial) </li><li style="font-weight:400">Securing cargo using rope, ratchet straps, & blankets.</li><li style="font-weight:400">Basic customer service and communication</li></ul> Preferred Skills and Experience:<ul><li style="font-weight:400">1 year or more of general labor experience</li><li style="font-weight:400">Strong sense of spatial awareness </li><li style="font-weight:400">Consistent communication</li><li style="font-weight:400">Basic time management skills</li><li style="font-weight:400">Excellent Spatial Awareness </li><li style="font-weight:400">Attention to detail</li><li style="font-weight:400">Friendly and professional customer service</li><li style="font-weight:400">Ability to work independently</li><li style="font-weight:400">Ability to work with a team</li><li style="font-weight:400">Organization (keeping track of tools and supplies)</li><li style="font-weight:400">Creative problem-solving skills</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li style="font-weight:400">Must be 18 or older</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must be available to work weekends</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must be able to Lift and carry up to 125 lbs repeatedly over varying surfaces, grades,  and distances for up to 8 hours on a daily basis </li><li style="font-weight:400">Must be able to frequently bend, squat, and reach overhead</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must be able to communicate in a loud, fast-paced environment</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must be able to communicate with individuals who are not in line-of-sight or when hand use is restricted (Example: during team lifts of large or heavy objects)</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must wear company provided uniform</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must have reliable transportation</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must be dependable & punctual</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must be able to regularly work outside in inclement weather</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must have a mobile device with the following:</li><li><ul><li style="font-weight:400">An active data plan</li><li style="font-weight:400">An active phone number with voicemail</li><li style="font-weight:400">GPS functionality with navigation</li><li style="font-weight:400">Bluetooth & WiFi wireless connectivity</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must carry and maintain some moving equipment</li></ul></li><li style="font-weight:400">Must have your own vehicle and valid WA driver’s license</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must have a clean driving record</li><li style="font-weight:400">Must have proof of current vehicle insurance with coverage equal to or greater than the Washington state required insurance minimums</li></ul> Hours: This is a part-time, permanent position. However, the hours fluctuate during the year based on moving trends in our service areas. Historically, movers can expect hours to increase in Summer and Fall, and decrease in Winter and Spring.
