Working under close supervision, may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies. Performs routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures. Work is closely and continually reviewed. Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date. Be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral form. Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal customers and external customers such as tours. Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations. Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives in order to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metrics. POSITION SUMMARY The Automotive Technician II will repair, overhaul, and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment. Pay Range: $22.00 - $29.00 RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Perform skilled repair and maintenance on a variety of gasoline-powered equipment and vehicles such as replacing bearings, axle seals, brake master cylinders, resurfacing brake drums and rotors</li><li>Disassemble components and inspect part for wear</li><li>Repair, overhaul, replace and rebuild water and fuel pumps, air conditioning components, compressors, radiators, etc.</li><li>Rewire electrical systems</li><li>Replace, realign, and adjust brakes and suspension components</li><li>Diagnose and repair malfunctions to all systems</li><li>Overhaul gasoline and diesel engines</li><li>Tune and perform repairs to diesel engines</li><li>Repair and maintain hydraulic systems; routes and replaces lies and checks system for leak</li><li>Perform routine vehicle equipment preventative maintenance inspections; checking and replacing fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, and replaces exhaust system components</li><li>Temporarily covering at another shop in your zone at certain times per year (for sick leaves, holidays, vacations, etc.)</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li style="text-align:left">High School Diploma or equivalent required</li><li style="text-align:left">Vocational/Technical training in automotive repair with 5 years of automotive repair experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities</li><li style="text-align:left">Must have a valid California Driver’s License</li><li style="text-align:left">Must possess ASE A5 </li><li style="text-align:left">ASE Master Automotive Technician and/or Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician preferred</li><li style="text-align:left">Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization</li><li style="text-align:left">Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion</li><li style="text-align:left">Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process</li><li style="text-align:left">Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment</li><li style="text-align:left">Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 75lbs.
