REQUIRED SKILLS: (Need Majority; 2+ Years) * Knowledge of conventional VHF Radio System operability (2+ years) * Technical competency with electronic equipment (2+ years) * Experience with vehicle and office electronics installation (2+ years) * Knowledge of FCC licensing procedures and license maintenance * Knowledge of analog/digital radio systems * Radio programming using software/interfaces * Maintaining portable radio battery fleets * Networking experience, including switches, routers, and firewalls * Experience cabling with copper and fiber optic technologies * Clear technical documentation and system diagram creation NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: · Proficiency with radio test equipment (service monitors, antenna analyzers, etc.) · Experience troubleshooting radio equipment · Experience in emergency back-up and disaster recovery radio planning INTERVIEW PROCESS: * Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. The Radio Program supports: * Up to 4000 users across 3 DNR divisions * ~100 DNR offices * ~1500 handheld radios, 20 aviation radios, and ~750 mobile/vehicle radios * ~60 towers and 158 repeaters across 120 sites This role also includes coordinating with DOA Facilities Management and external vendors and may involve directing vendor work in the field.
