Job Summary and Responsibilities CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Night shift Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join our well-established hospital-employed group. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care within a regional healthcare leader, consistently recognized as the #1 Best Regional Hospital in Chattanooga by U.S. News & World Report for 11 consecutive years (and TN's #4), and holding a consistent 'A' Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group. About the Opportunity:Schedule: 7 on / 7 off shifts (7am - 7pm), Tuesday to Monday at our hospital located in Hixson Focus: Inpatient care for adults, no Peds, OB, or Trauma. No codes (Rapid Response Team handles), no after-hours call. Support: The APP will work with a collaborating physician who is accessible remotely via telehealth for consultation, oversight, and clinical support. A reasonable census, and closed ICUs staffed by Intensivists. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat, prescribe, order/interpret tests, and manage discharge planning for inpatients.
