ensure staff are certified on required systems before performing related duties and maintain training and certification records.</li><li style="border:medium none">Conduct recurring drills and exercises and apply lessons learned to improve procedures.</li></ul>SOPs, Playbooks & Operational Standards<ul><li style="border:medium none">Develop, maintain, and standardize GSOC SOPs, response playbooks, escalation matrices, and operational procedures. </li><li style="border:medium none">Continuously improve operational workflows, triage processes, and incident handling procedures. </li><li style="border:medium none">Ensure operational consistency across all shifts and personnel. </li></ul>Investigations<ul><li style="border:medium none">Oversee intake, triage, documentation, and case management for security incidents, ensuring sound evidence handling and accurate, audit-ready records.</li><li style="border:medium none">Coordinate appropriately with client Human Resources, Legal, Privacy, and law enforcement within legal boundaries; identify trends to support proactive mitigation.</li></ul>GSOC Technology & Systems Management<ul><li style="border:medium none">Oversee GSOC technology platforms including: </li><li style="border:medium none">CCTV systems </li><li style="border:medium none">Access control systems </li><li style="border:medium none">Mass notification platforms </li><li style="border:medium none">Intelligence monitoring tools </li><li style="border:medium none">Incident management systems </li><li style="border:medium none">Coordinate system testing, maintenance, upgrades, and operational enhancements. </li><li style="border:medium none">Ensure operational reliability and functionality of all GSOC systems. </li></ul>Intelligence collection & analysis<ul><li style="border:medium none">Direct the intelligence cycle — collection from open sources and commercial platforms, analysis, production, and dissemination of timely, accurate products.</li><li style="border:medium none">Set source-evaluation and corroboration standards, and quality-control analytic products and recurring briefings.</li></ul>Risk assessment<ul><li style="border:medium none">Plan and conduct physical security, site, event, and travel/country risk assessments using an established risk methodology.</li><li style="border:medium none">Assess threats and vulnerabilities across people, facilities, information, and partners; prioritize by likelihood and impact; deliver actionable recommendations and track mitigation to closure.</li></ul>Crisis response & communication<ul><li style="border:medium none">Serve as the operations-center escalation lead; ensure events are classified and escalated according to the client’s severity and escalation framework.</li><li style="border:medium none">Govern mass-notification standards and message accuracy, coordinate with the client’s crisis-management teams during activations, manage personnel accountability/wellness-check processes, and lead after-action reviews.</li></ul>Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement<ul><li style="border:medium none">Establish and monitor GSOC performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs. </li><li style="border:medium none">Conduct operational audits and identify areas for improvement. </li><li style="border:medium none">Develop initiatives that improve operational efficiency, response capability, and service delivery.</li><li style="border:medium none">Produce operational reports, metrics summaries, and executive updates. </li></ul>Stakeholder Coordination & Communications<ul><li style="border:medium none">Serve as a liaison between the GSOC and internal business units, leadership teams, vendors, and external partners. </li><li style="border:medium none">Coordinate operational communications during incidents and crises. </li><li style="border:medium none">Support executive briefings, operational updates, and stakeholder reporting. </li></ul>Business Continuity, Travel Risk & Compliance<ul><li style="border:medium none">Support travel security operations and traveler monitoring initiatives. </li><li style="border:medium none">Integrate GSOC operations into broader business continuity and crisis management programs. </li><li style="border:medium none">Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and applicable regulations. </li></ul>Physical security operations<ul><li style="border:medium none">Oversee access control and video-surveillance monitoring, alarm response, badging, visitor management, and after-hours response in coordination with on-site staff and local responders.</li><li style="border:medium none">Guide GSOC to be the primary back-up for all satellite sites</li><li style="border:medium none">Maintain operational readiness and business continuity of the operations center.</li></ul>Cross-site & enterprise collaboration<ul><li style="border:medium none">Serve as the operations-center liaison to the client’s locations, promoting consistent security standards, notification practices, and situational-awareness sharing across sites.</li><li style="border:medium none">Build effective working relationships with client business-continuity, HR, IT/security, Legal/Privacy, and communications partners, and maintain relationships with law enforcement, emergency services, and external risk-management providers.</li><li style="border:medium none">Supervisory Responsibilities - Directly supervises operations-center analysts and the on-site security team;
