Join Our Team as a Temp - Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Radiology Aide (Nights) in Pittsfield, MA! Are you passionate about contributing to patient care and eager to gain valuable experience in a dynamic radiology environment? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Radiology Aides to support our MRI department during overnight shifts. What You Will Do: <ul><li>Assist in the MRI radiology department, primarily working with GE HDXT systems (16.0 and 23.0)</li><li>Support the team in patient preparation and care, ensuring smooth and efficient imaging procedures</li><li>Collaborate closely with MRI Techs and fellow aides, maintaining safety and quality standards</li><li>Work approximately 9 patients per shift in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting</li><li>Be available for call coverage after midnight, with scheduled days off and approved time off requests</li></ul> Required Skills: <ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment</li><li>Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care procedures</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting</li><li>Reliable with good organizational skills</li><li>Prior experience in a clinical or radiology setting is a plus</li></ul> Nice to Have Skills: <ul><li>Previous experience working with MRI equipment or radiology departments</li><li>Knowledge of hospital protocols and patient safety standards</li><li>Certification in patient care or radiology assistant programs</li><li>Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations</li></ul> Preferred Education and Experience: <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Previous experience in a healthcare support role preferred but not required</li><li>Prior experience working nights or in a hospital environment is advantageous</li></ul> Other Requirements: <ul><li>Reside within 50 miles of Pittsfield, MA, or be willing to commute</li><li>Ability to commit to night shifts and flexible scheduling</li><li>Professionalism, dependability, and a compassionate approach to patient care</li><li>Must have reliable voicemail set up and be reachable</li><li>Willingness to undergo orientation and adhere to all safety and operational protocols</li></ul> Take the next step in your healthcare careerapply now to join our dedicated team in Pittsfield and make a meaningful difference while advancing your skills!
