The Float Pool RN will maintain competencies in all areas as assigned by department leadership Utilizing the nursing process, the Float RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care with a focus on restoring and promoting patient health and well-being and partners with patients, families, and the care team in the planning and coordination of care. Within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Float Pool RNs care for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions, such as those with cardiac conditions, respiratory compromise, or post-surgical recovery needs.
